The Spirolab III Diagnostic Colour Spirometer is a comprehensive system that includes a high resolution colour display, built-in printer, and software. It can perform FVC, VC, and MVV tests with real-time curves and has over 30 parameters with automatic interpretation and test quality control. It also has a PRE/POST bronchial response protocol and can display up to 8 blows curves on one screen. The system has an internal database for storing approximately 6000 complete tests and can calculate predicted values from various authors. It can be powered by a rechargeable battery or mains power and has a user-friendly keyboard with dedicated function keys. The system also has an internal temperature sensor for automatic BTPS conversion and can be upgraded with free software from the web. It has selectable multilanguage software and can be ordered with additional languages. The spirometer uses a MIR digital turbine flow sensor that does not require calibration and complies with ATS 24/26 waveforms.
